“I had one patient who was schizophrenic, i.e., he had a diagnosis of schizophrenia.

So, he started talking about time, about space, about what was <before> and <after>. He drew a cross, he drew a cloud, something else, some symbols.

I asked him, “What’s that? And he pointed to the cloud.”

He said: “Everything is here! BEGINNING and END. BEFORE and AFTER.”

And then I ask – “What do you mean after?”

He said – “This is SPACE. And what happened before the beginning of space? Could anyone measure TIME?”

I said – “Well, I guess…”

He says – “No, because if there was no space, there was no movement, there was no relativity, it was impossible to measure time. It’s clear?”

I said, “Yes. What was it then, before time existed? Are you studying quantum physics?” He was so interesting.

“There was I before all things began, that is, GOD».

I was confused…

And then he adds: “Don’t worry, you were there too. Everything was there, but not in material form. When the matter of space appeared, we began to transform. Someday we will disappear, there will be entropy, IT will remain, i.e. what has always been.”
